Today I’d like to show you a little project that me and @urcoilbisurco have been working on for a while.
It’s called CouchTalks, and it’s a free service to create, edit and share lists.
As told by an old school film editor, from the days when they actually handled film:
Client: ”What is your rate?”
Me: ”$50 per hour.”
Client: ”Can I come watch you?”
Me: ”Sure, for $100/hour.”
Client: ”What if I help you?”
Me: ”That would be $400 per hour.”

It’s so funny when I hear people being so protective of ideas. (People who want me to sign an nda to tell me the simplest idea.)
To me, ideas are worth nothing unless executed. They are just a multiplier. Execution is worth millions.
Explanation:
_
To make a business, you need to multiply the two.
The most brilliant idea, with no execution, is worth $20. The most brilliant idea takes great execution to be worth $20,000,000.
That’s why I don’t want to hear people’s ideas. I’m not interested until I see their execution.

You might have learned that a certain upcoming version of Mac OS X may have scrolling that is “bass-ackwards”.
That is, when you push up on your trackpad or mouse scroller, the page content moves up too, just like on iOS devices.
I made a very minimal little app that lets you reverse…
“Once we have outlets, computer outlets. Each of them hooked up to libraries, enormous libraries where anyone can answer any question and be given answers, be given reference material, be something you are interested in knowing from an early age however silly it might seem to anyone. Thats what you are interested in. And you ask and you can find out and you can follow it up. And you can do it in your own home at your own speed in your own direction and at your own time. Then everyone will enjoy learning. “
